Even with long-term use, it will not retain stains or odors. Won't Contaminate Food: Research has shown that when using a plastic cutting board, you may consume an average of 50 grams of plastic shavings per year. Long-term use of wooden cutting boards leaves incisions and perforations, which trap food residue and can produce odors. Stainless steel cutting boards, however, have no odors and won't retain food residue. Easy to Clean & Reduces Kitchen Clutter: This stainless steel cutting board set is easy to clean—simply wipe it down with water (DISHWASHER SAFE), and it's ready for the next use. Its lightweight design makes it portable, and it can be hung when not in use, keeping your kitchen clean and adding a touch of elegance. Versatile Use: This 2-piece cutting board set includes a large board for general food preparation, including cutting meat, poultry, and larger items. The smaller board is perfect for cutting fruits, vegetables, and preparing baby food or small portions.
